Banners

Banner advertising is managed through the Admin Vendors tab and the Host Vendors tab. You can select the number of banners to display as well as the banner type. Unfortunately in this version of DotNetNuke this feature doesn't work. If you do want banner advertisting click on Vendors for My-ASP.Net's recommendation.

Module Features:

Banners can be enabled in the header of the portal through the Admin > Site Settings tab for your skin banners.

Reporting is provided for banner views and clicks throughs in your Vendor Record.

Each banner module can be set to render from one of two separately managed levels of vendor directories, one for the portal host and one for the portal administrator's site. Banners managed by the portal host are available in all child portals managed under the host portal.

1. Choose the Banners module from your Administrator's menu bar to add the module.
2. Click on the Edit pencil icon.
3. Choose Host or Admin (in the example I have left the radio buttons blank and it defaults to the Admin Vendors)
4. Choose the type of banners you have uploaded (ie. Banner)
5. Enter the number of banners you wish to display at one time. If I entered 1 then only 1 banner will display, if I entered 2 then 2 banners will display one right after the other. In the example below I added only 1 in the Banner Count.
6. Click the update link to save.

You have now entered a banner ad campaign to your portal. Click refresh to see the banners change below.
