Vendors

Access the Vendor list by selecting Vendors from either the main Admin or Host menu tab. The portal Vendors module lets you create and manage your banner advertising for your site and keeps a record of affiliate referrals. Vendors can run two campaigns on your portal 'host' and 'site'.

As well as the Vendors campaign My-ASP.Net recommends The Willow Tree Advertiser Module which you can view on their website.

Willow tree banner advertising module for DotNetNuke version 2.1.2 lets you create different campaigns to run vertically or horizontally in your portal.

You can also add javascript banner ads which are free but slow to load initially, best placed at the bottom of the page..

www.coder.com directory integrates with the vendor module in version 2.1.2. as well.

The Host Vendor banners can be displayed on every portal site contained within your Portal, so if you are hosting other 'portal sites' these banners can be displayed in those sites. Admin Vendor banners can be displayed on each portal 'site'. When choosing the 'Banners' module and placing it on your page you have a choice of 'Host' or 'Site' banners to display.

To add banners or affiliate referrals you must have a vendor record entered. To run a banner ad campaign add your own company information to a Vendor record in Admin Vendors.
